Simplified derivation of the Hawking-Unruh temperature for an accelerated observer in vacuum

Hawking predicted that a black hole should radiate with a temperature T = h̄g/2πkc, where g is the gravitational acceleration at the surface of the black hole, k is Boltzmann’s constant, and c is the speed of light. This results from the effect of the strong gravitation on the vacuum field.
